Oklahoma City, OK - Magazine BLU, the new national magazine for affluent single adults, is pleased to announce that Axton Events and Whimsical Weddings & Events have been awarded the contract for planning and execution of the magazine’s, Saturday, April 24, 2010 “Soiree” launch event in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The event is themed, “Visions of BLU,” and will reflect the many visions of single life to attendees, while allowing party-goers the ability to virtually walk through the pages of the magazine, becoming aware of its style and editorial nature.

Kimberly Toms, President and Publisher of Magazine BLU, stated, “We are very pleased to be working with Brigit Axton and Sacha Patires for this big event. Their proposal showed immense creativity and exuberance for our publication, and mixed together concepts that will be great fun for attendees while sticking to our primary business objectives, such as that of broadening awareness of the magazine in the area.
