I am not only a full-time Oklahoma Event Planner, Coordinator and Designer, but also a very proud, full-time Mom. I love my family! My children are my life. They teach me something new everyday and continue to remind me that life is not just about getting through each day and making ends meet, but that there is so much joy and happiness to be had. I am so blessed and thank God everyday for giving me these 4 wonderful children to call my own.
Event Planning — I am so excited to be doing something I am truly passionate about! Event Planning!! I recognized my passion for entertainment at an early age, when I would sneak-a-peak on my parents while they were entertaining, and I was supposed to be sleeping! From there it grew into hosting parties for family and friends, to becoming a full-time Oklahoma event planner.
When I moved to Oklahoma 12 years ago, I began working for PZR, a zoning company in downtown OKC. I have over 10 years experience as a commercial property report writer and research analyst with them.
In 2004, I resigned from the zoning company to be home with my children, while continuing to contract out as a research analyst/report writer. In 2007, I began pursuing my dream of becoming a premier event planner by doing extensive research and educating myself, constantly. At that time, I had the opportunity to network and intern with some of the best in the event planning business, such as Coles Garden, Walnut Creek, and Whimsical Weddings & Events.
I began planning events full-time in 2008 and have since, had the pleasure of building relationships with some of the top businesses in Oklahoma. Just to name a few businesses I have had the pleasure of working and coordinating events for are: Mark Deal and Associates , Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors, Unified Chiropractic Association, BNI Oklahoma, Sparks Clinic, Single Parent Support Network, and Sit. Stay. Art. I have also had the pleasure of creating special moments for many people around Oklahoma, Florida and Georgia, as well as, directed and produced several weddings and receptions.
My extensive research, along with my personal and professional ties to the local zoning, commercial real estate and land surveying community, have provided me with an intimate knowledge of Oklahoma City and its fabulous vendors and venues.
I am constantly redefining my signature style as my experience and education of the event planning business expands. Because of this, I was so happy to put on the VERY FIRST……………
